Scarlett was surrendered by her owner to an animal shelter. She was in horrible condition. She was suffering from severe dental disease that had settled into her upper respiratory system. She required heavy antibiotic treatment, dental cleaning with extractions and long term therapy. Now with a specific diet of Sience Diet Z/D and some Lysine treats, she is living a fairly normal life with only an occasion sneeze of stuffy nose. All she needs is someone to not be scared of her diet and see how sweet and deserving she is. She was adopted once before and made best friends with the adopter's Heeler. The two slept together and played peek-a-boo under the bed. Unfortunantly, she was returned due to a change in living conditions.
She has been in at least four different places in her three years of life. It would be so great for someone to fall in love with her like we have and give her a wonderful furever home. We enjoy her and her laid back ways. She is a sweet girl that purrs with every touch. She accepts change very well, but would do best in a quiet household. You can also meet this kitty and many others at Double Oak Veterinary Medical Center. Check out their website for directions and hours of operation. http://www.doubleoakvet.com/

Oh, poor little Scarlett!! Having to be in so many places in three years of her life! I already said a prayer for her that a good home adopts her forever.
Best,
Gloria
