Frightful features span three acres along the haunted grounds, which chills spines with more than 100 gruesome, faux-weapon-wielding characters. Along the haunted tour, participants creep through cobwebs and along ghastly gray walls as clowns, spooky silhouettes, and cardboard cutouts of Cher follow in close pursuit. Based upon the bone-chilling legend of The Hangman dating to 1882, Hangman's House of Horrors has been featured on The Travel Channel's list of scariest Halloween attractions––a list based on each attraction's popularity and number of middle-school gym teachers moonlighting as killer clowns.
