Spay or Neuter and Vaccines Low Cost Clinic

Now, more than ever, do we need to spay or neuter our pets. In rough economic times, pets unfortunately are often the first and hardest hit. At my local Vet's office the bulletin board is full of baby animals and older animals alike that need good homes because their owners can no longer afford to take care of them. In the past few months I have also seen dozens of stray animals roaming the streets, maybe it's because I live in a subdivision that is only a few blocks from open fields (which sadly sometimes serve as animal abandoning grounds)

While some people's hearts may be in the right place (not wanting to surrender them to the local shelter for fear they may get put down and or thinking they stand a better chance  on the streets)
a lot of these animals that end up abandoned are unaltered....which only leads to litters of more poor unwanted animals.

I sadly know I cannot fix the problem of abandoned animals, or people who do not spay or neuter their animals. I also know millions of poor animals are destroyed everyday, either at local shelters, being run over, starvation, or disease.

BUT.... I'd like to at least pass along an inexpensive way to take care of both cats and dogs
Fortunately I recently came across and had the pleasure of dealing with The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection. TCAP is a nonprofit, membership organization that serves to increase public awareness and understanding of issues affecting animal welfare, to act as an information clearinghouse for animal welfare organizations and to support animal shelters and animal groups.

They have Clinic locations in Denton, Fort Worth and Burleson and they provide low cost vaccinations and spay and neuter surgeries for both dogs and cats.

Love your animals, spay or neuter your pets!
